If Jesus loved John.....
This sign was conceived to coincide with the International Day against homophobia, May 17th 2009, by Rev Neil Whitehouse with the illustration from Durer (1507) somewhat adapted!
The story of Adam and Eve is used as a prototype for human beings and some argue this excludes same-sex love as having validity before God. Yet for Christians, Jesus has been understood as the New Adam: one thing that we know of Jesus from John's gospel is that Jesus loved the disciple John. So this love relationship surely opens us to consider the diversity of human sexual orientations may be part of the fulfilment of creation.

We have enjoyed three wonderful events this year, the premier Spring Art Gala in April and Winespring 2008 on May 2nd, as well as supporting Le Repère Uni with the third annual Pet Fest 2008 on September 20th. The opportunity to bring all sorts of people together expresses much of what RQM stands for, and we hope you enjoy the images.
